Egan Electric LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use, and handle information when you visit eganelectricaz.com or submit an inquiry through the website, including our follow-up communications about that inquiry. It does not describe our broader handling of customer records in providing electrical services. Our website is intended for visitors in the United States.

When you request an estimate through our website, we collect your first and last name, phone number, city, job description, and any email address or service selection you provide. When we follow up on your website inquiry, we may also receive additional information you choose to share, such as your property address, project details, or photographs.
Please avoid sending sensitive information we do not need to respond to your inquiry, such as payment-card details, Social Security numbers, or passwords.
How we use information
We use information covered by this policy to:

Contact forms and website support
Our website is hosted by Netlify, which also processes and stores website contact-form submissions. Netlify screens form submissions for spam using Akismet, a spam-detection service operated by Automattic.
Copies of submissions are emailed to Egan Electric and to our website service provider, Paul Hirsch Web Design. Our website provider accesses submissions to maintain the website, troubleshoot form problems, and compare inquiry activity with website analytics reports. Our email providers also process and store these messages as part of delivering email services.
Google Analytics and cookies
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors find and use our website, including pages viewed, referring websites, device and browser type, approximate location, and interactions such as contact-link clicks and form submissions. Google Analytics uses cookies and similar identifiers, and Google processes this information to provide our reports.
We do not link Google Analytics to advertising accounts or use Google Signals. We have disabled automatic detection of names, email addresses, phone numbers, and addresses through Google’s user-provided data feature.
Our Google Analytics settings retain event-level data for 2 months and user-level data for 14 months. New activity resets the retention period for user identifiers. These settings do not affect standard aggregated reports.

Your analytics choices: You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or use the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. Our website does not currently respond to Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signals. You can also contact us by phone or email instead of using the website’s contact form.
Google Fonts and technical information
Our website loads fonts from Google Fonts. When your browser requests these resources, Google receives connection information such as your IP address and browser request details.
Our hosting and technology providers also process technical information needed to deliver and protect their services, which may include IP addresses, request times, requested resources, and browser information.
When information is shared
Information covered by this policy is handled by Egan Electric LLC and the service providers described above for responding to website inquiries, hosting, form processing, email delivery, website maintenance, and analytics.
When following up on a website inquiry, we may store the information you provide in Housecall Pro, our scheduling and job-management service.
We do not sell or rent information covered by this policy, and we do not use or share it for targeted or cross-site advertising.
We may also disclose this information when required by law or when reasonably necessary to protect legal rights or address fraud or security issues.
How long information is kept
We retain website inquiries and related communications for as long as reasonably necessary to respond and follow up, maintain records of those communications, and meet legal obligations or resolve disputes. Retention periods vary depending on the information and its purpose. Website analytics retention is described in the “Google Analytics and cookies” section above.
